in 1997 we started Zamil Galvanizing, Bahrain, to provide quality Hot Dip Galvanizing Services in Bahrain. In 2017, we commissioned the Vertical Line Powder Coating plant in Bahrain, with the latest technology from Italy & Switzerland.
Zamil Industrial Coatings Ltd. Co., started production in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, in 1996, with their first powder coating plant in Dammam, 1st Industrial Area . In the year 2007-08, the Management took a decision to expand operations considering the fast growth of the economy and the resultant peak in business activities. In 2009, it was decided to set up a second plant in the Dammam 2nd Industrial Area , and an order was placed with an American company for turnkey supply of the automated plant.
The new facility became operational in June 2011 at the Dammam 2nd Industrial Area. The plant is one of the biggest in the Gulf Region. The plant was mainly targeted for FUSION BONDED EPOXY powder coating of Welded Deformed Wire Mesh used in Reinforced Concrete for the Construction Industry. However, the plant is also designed with the flexibility for Coating various colors in Polyester, Metallic and Super-durable finishes on aluminum & steel products.
The plant has the capacity to powder coat items/pieces with various sizes up to 2 ton per work piece With this capacity and operational flexibility the plant is easily one of the largest powder coating facilities in the Middle East.
The plant is designed with a 9 stage chemical pretreatment system for cleaning the parts prior to Powder Coating. The pretreatment includes Phosphating and Chromatin (passivation), which is acknowledged as the best systems for pretreatment of aluminium and Galvanized Steel surfaces.
Automation :The automated PLC controlled powder coating system has a 22 gun array manufactured by the brand leaders in the field, GEMA, Switzerland. The plant is automated with conveyor system that transports the parts from one stage of the coating process to another
